Holding the pink coloured identity card made it extra special. It has been 2 years plus since I last saw my Pink IC.

2 years and 4 months just flew by in a blink of an eye. I have completed my National Service. I thank my Loving Heavenly Father for bringing me through these 2 years and 4 months. Without Him, I would not have made it so far. He has indeed blessed me abundantly. The close proximity from my house to my camp, the wonderful superiors I am blessed to work with, the loving friends and colleagues that spent these 2 years and 4 months with me. Lord, I can't thank You enough.

How do I feel now? How do you feel after being rebuked and reprimanded?

I've just been reprimanded by my Godsister. Initially, I was a little agitated and I felt that I did not deserve such treatment. But after thinking through, I realised that I deserved the reprimanding. It's my fault. I did not put God first. And she reminded me. What a wonderful sister I have and I actually was a little agitated with her! Can't believe it!

God showed me Humility. It takes a lot to humble oneself and admit to the mistakes that you have made. To repent and ask for forgiveness. It is not easy. But it is what God taught us to do. Psalm 51 says "A humble and repentant heart I will not despise..." Indeed, God looks at our hearts. To humble oneself and come before our Heavenly Father and ask Him for forgiveness.

"Lord, I confess to my mistakes. It's a Toyota Altis. Just came back from taking a spin in the car. Pretty easy to drive. For now, I will be using the car to go to the University as well as Church, till I pass my dad's test. Then I am able to drive everywhere.

The arrival of this new car just made me thank God for all the blessings He has showered upon me. My family who cares so much about me. The gifts that God has blessed me with. The gift of music, the gift of singing, wonderful friends and all the material things. What else can I ask for?

But I also know that God has told me to give to the poor and those in need. After all, all that I have are not even mine. They belong to Him, the Almighty God. I am nothing without Him. There are so many people out there who are suffering and they need so much more than I do. And I know that as His child, He wants me to use all that He has given me to help others.

"Lord, thank You for making me realise that all that I have are from You. Today's session didn't turn out as well as before. I believe it all comes down to the Heart Of Worship. The Lord looks at our hearts, not the instruments that we play. Not how lovely we sound. Not even the songs that we are singing. The Lord looks at our hearts. I just thought of the song, "Heart Of Worship".

"When the music fades,
 All is stripped away,
 And I simply come.
 Longing just to bring,
 Something that's of worth,
 That will bless Your Heart...."

Such meaningful lyrics. Yes, we should always sing from our hearts. Give God the best that we can offer. Tell Him how much we love Him and how Great and Mighty He is. Merely singing and playing the songs do not convey such a message. We need to sing and express ourselves from deep within.

"Lord, I pray that You will continue to teach me, and the Worship Team, to worship You from our hearts. Not only during the actual service, but during every single rehearsal that we have. Convict our hearts Lord. Teach us the Heart Of Worship. Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen!

My beloved Godsister is down with a fever. Lord, You are the Healer, the Comforter, Our Loving Heavenly Father. Every sickness will flee upon hearing Your name. So Lord, I claim healing in Sugene's body. The fever will flee from her right now. She will be COMPLETELY restored in the name of JESUS! Thank You Lord for your Grace and Mercy in Sugene's life. In Jesus Name I pray. Johann and I went to buy May's 21st Birthday present. Was on my way home after buying the present. As I walked through the underpass from Wheelock Place to Lido, I saw an old lady sitting in a wheelchair, selling tissue packs. People just streamed past her as if she was invisible. No one took notice of her other than a few kind souls. I approached her, and asked her if she had eaten. Eventually she told me she wouldn't mind having some food. I went to get her some food. The smile on her face just melted my heart. I know she's happy. And I know Jesus is happy as well.

I thank God for His love for His people. Every single one, regardless of whether the person is rich or poor. He loves us all. And I know He loves that old lady. And I thank Him for using the few kind souls to spread a little love to the old lady.

"Lord, I pray that You will convict the hearts of more people in Singapore, to lend a helping hand to those in need. Lord, teach us humility, and teach us to put others before ourselves. Indeed, everything we have belongs to You. You have so graciously blessed us with everything we need. Lord, teach us to give and help those in need. Convict our hearts Lord. Fill them with love and compassion for those in need. I pray for the old lady. Lord, bless her and be with her every day of her life. I pray that more people will approach her and lend her a helping hand. Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name I pray. Was walking to Church the other day. I saw this frail-looking old man, sitting in a wheelchair. I just felt God asking me to approach him. I went. He was so poor and frail. Brought him to the nearby hawker centre and got him some food. When I saw the smile on the old man's face, my heart was filled with this joy that I could not describe. I thank the Lord for bringing Joy to the old man.

"Lord, if there are any more opportunites for me to help people, please use me to do so."

I see God's wonderful blessings in my Godsister's life (Her name is Sugene). How He honours those who honour Him. I know the struggles in my Godsister's life. I know the frustrations that she faces every single day. But yet, I see how faithful she is. Although she needs constant encouragement and prayers. But that's fine. Everyone faces their down periods. It is how we handle them. I am so glad to know that she always keeps her faith in Christ Jesus.

Jeremiah 17:17 says "Lord, do not desert me. You alone are my hope in the days of disaster."

Indeed, God is our refuge when we face life's trials and tribulations. Through my Godsister, I see how God has rewarded her faithfulness. Many prayers have been answered. Many signs confirmed. And I believe that many more blessings will come along the way.

The reason why I am having mixed feelings is because, on the one hand, I am very happy for my Godsister, but on the other hand, a few people that I care so much for, are facing lots of problems. Don't think I will reveal who they are. Not very nice. Here's a prayer for them.

"Dear Lord, I commit these few friends of mine into Your hands. Lord, You know who they are. Father, pls strengthen them and grant them peace during such times of hardship and trials. Lord, I know You will never leave us alone in times of need. You are ALWAYS there for us. So I commit my brothers and sisters to You, trusting that You will guide them through these tough times. In Jesus name, Amen!"

Signing off for now. God bless!

Thoughts And Feelings

My first ever blog.
